Scope of Works
Candidates will be exposed to various skills in the office over the course of a minimum three-month probationary period and, if found acceptable, will be incorporated into the office. During the probationary period, there will be regular reviews regarding the performance and the candidates are expected to show steady progress. The performance on each task will be checked and measured using a thorough monitoring system and has to be satisfactory at every stage during the probationary period.
We use a flat hierarchy structure at Benny Kuriakose and Associates, where everyone is treated equally in terms of work and responsibilities. This helps bridge the gap between senior and younger employees and fosters a more collaborative work atmosphere. Our work encompasses more than just architectural projects; it also includes research, writing, audio-visual presentations, 3D images, photo editing, publications, website designing and its development, social media, etc. Opportunities for proper training and equipping of these skills will also be provided. This internship is not intended for students and is open only to the graduates.
Salary
A stipend of Rs. 18000/- would be paid during the beginning. The performance will be reviewed and evaluated regularly and the candidates are expected to show steady progress.
If somebody has more experience or higher qualifications, we may consider paying a higher stipend after three months if their performance and contribution to the office are more or equal to that of young architects or engineers who are regular employees.

Accommodation and Food
Candidates will have to make their own arrangements for food, accommodation, as well as local transportation to and from the office. Candidates must preferably be based in Chennai or willing to relocate.

Architect
A portfolio of the individual works and group works (with proper acknowledgment of the role) is to be attached. Competition works and Internship works are to be avoided.
Engineer
A write-up on what you think of sustainability and the key issues relating to it that you care about (Minimum 500 words and Maximum 1000 words) should be sent to us along with the CV.
Cad Designer
The candidate should be skilled and experienced, with a strong background in architectural and interior drawings.
Desired Skills and Experience
5-20 years of CAD design experience in architectural firms
Strong attention to detail and an ability to produce precise, quality-driven work and timely completion of design deliverables.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
The portfolio with the recent works mentioned (below 10 MB) has to be attached along with the resume.
Graphic Designer
The candidate should have a passion for, and be eager to experiment with creating graphic content for our diverse projects.
Desired Skills and Experience
Graduates in Art, Photography, Graphic Design, or other related fields & solid knowledge of social media platforms including Instagram, Pinterest, and YouTube
Passion for Art, Design, Architecture, and content creation.
Thorough knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and print production.
Understanding trends in website design and experience in any other field of design will be a plus.

Content Editors
We seek young, creative, and skilled content writers. A passionate writer and skilled communicator with an interest in design and architecture will be ideal.
Desired Skills and Experience
Graduates having a degree in English, journalism, or related fields, with a strong interest in Art, Architecture, Design, History, and the Social Sciences.
Excellent written English
Good Microsoft Office skills (e.g. Outlook, Excel, Word), and working knowledge in Adobe InDesign are preferred, but not essential.
Keen interest and skills in research and critical analysis.
Two of the best and most recent samples of writing (under 500 words), if possible related to the fields of Art/Design/Architecture, are to be attached.
